Zero Tolerance Policy

1. Purpose

At Black Titan Global LLC, we prioritize safety, professionalism, and strict adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. This Zero Tolerance Policy outlines our commitment to maintaining the highest standards, particularly concerning alcohol/substance abuse and distracted driving. Violations of this policy will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all drivers, employees, independent contractors, and any personnel operating under Black Titan Global LLC’s authority.

3. Zero Tolerance Violations

3.1. Alcohol and Substance Abuse
- Prohibition of Impaired Driving: Operating a company vehicle under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substances that impair driving ability is strictly forbidden.
- On-Duty Substance Restrictions: Consumption or possession of alcohol, illegal drugs, or unauthorized prescription medications while on duty or within company vehicles is prohibited.
- Mandatory Testing Compliance: Refusal to submit to random, post-accident, or reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing will lead to immediate termination.
- Off-Duty Offenses: Any off-duty incidents involving DUI, DWI, or similar offenses will result in disqualification from driving duties under our authority.

3.2. Distracted Driving
- Device Usage: Use of handheld devices for texting, calling, or app usage while driving is strictly prohibited unless utilizing a hands-free system.
- In-Vehicle Distractions: Engaging with videos, social media, or in-car entertainment systems while operating a vehicle is not allowed.
- GPS Operation: GPS devices must be programmed prior to trip commencement to prevent distractions.
- General Distractions: Any activity diverting attention from safe vehicle operation is grounds for immediate disciplinary action.

3.3. Additional Prohibited Conduct
- Traffic Violations: Reckless driving, excessive speeding, or non-compliance with traffic laws is unacceptable.
- Unauthorized Passengers: Transporting individuals not authorized by the company is prohibited.
- Incident Reporting: Failure to promptly report accidents, vehicle issues, or passenger-related incidents is a serious violation.
- Professional Conduct: All personnel must maintain respectful and appropriate behavior towards passengers, clients, and the public.

4. Zero Tolerance Policy for Intoxicating Substances

To report Code Compliance violations, dial 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, and (214) 670-5111 when calling from outside the city limits.

Black Titan Global LLC is committed to providing a safe and professional transportation service for all our clients, employees, and the public. In compliance with the City of Dallas Transportation-for-Hire Ordinance SEC. 47A-2.1.6, we have implemented a Zero Tolerance Intoxicating Policy regarding the use of drugs or alcohol while operating a vehicle or performing job-related duties.

Policy Overview

4.1 Prohibition of Alcohol and Drug Use:

Any use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or misuse of prescription or over-the-counter medications that impair the ability to operate a vehicle or perform job duties is strictly prohibited.

Drivers and employees must not be under the influence of any intoxicating substances while on duty, operating company vehicles, or interacting with clients.

4.2 Pre-Duty Responsibility:

Drivers are required to ensure they are free from any substances that may impair their judgment, reflexes, or overall ability to safely perform their duties.

Any use of substances (including alcohol) must comply with legal limits and must not affect the driver’s ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

4.3 Reporting Violations:

Any passenger, client, or member of the public who suspects a driver of being under the influence may report the incident to Black Titan Global LLC. Reports can be made by contacting 469-937-1680 or emailing info@blacktitanpro.com.

Reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.

4.4 Investigative Procedures:

Upon receiving a report, Black Titan Global LLC will immediately suspend the driver pending the results of an investigation.

Drivers may be required to submit to alcohol or drug testing to confirm compliance with this policy. Refusal to comply with testing requirements will result in immediate termination.

4.5 Consequences of Violation:

Any confirmed violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Violations may also be reported to the City of Dallas as required by law.

4.6 Annual Review and Training:

All drivers will receive annual training on this policy, including the health and safety risks associated with drug and alcohol use.

The Zero Tolerance Intoxicating Policy will be reviewed annually to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Client Rights

Passengers and clients have the right to:
- A safe and professional transportation experience.
- Report any concerns regarding intoxicated drivers or unsafe behavior without fear of retaliation.
- Receive prompt and thorough responses to any complaints submitted.

5. Reporting and Enforcement

- Internal Reporting: Employees and passengers are encouraged to report any policy violations to company management without fear of retaliation.
- Investigation Process: All reported violations will be promptly and thoroughly investigated.
- Disciplinary Measures: Confirmed violations will result in actions ranging from suspension to termination, based on the severity of the offense.
